Networking at events

Networking where guests see who to talk to

Organizers bring a hundred people into a hall and leave them to find each other at random. AOA shows every guest who is nearby: field, level, role and what they are looking for. The first conversation is with someone you actually have something to talk about with.

Why networking doesn’t work

100 people in the hall, and one evening isn’t enough for everyone

  • Not enough time

There are a hundred people in the hall and only one evening. A guest gets to talk to a few, and the rest stay strangers

  • A conversation from the wrong field

Twenty minutes with someone you have nothing in common with professionally. Walking away feels awkward, staying feels like a waste of time

  • The right person walked past

The conversations were good. But the partner the guest was looking for sat at the next table, and they only found out from the photos after the event

Profiles are visible right away, so a guest goes straight to the right people and spends the rest of the evening meeting people they find interesting

Entering the event room

Two ways in

NFC tag

Tags on tables or stands. A guest taps their phone and is in the room right away, no app needed

Pass to the event room

Single-use, refreshes itself

QR from the door staff

The door staff show a QR on their phone or on a screen at the entrance. The code is single-use and refreshes itself after every scan

What the guest sees

    A profile in a minute

The guest picks their field, level, role, company and what they are looking for: partnership, hiring, a team or investment

Filters and profiles before you meet

Every bubble shows the person’s field, and the profile shows their name, role and company. Filtering by field, level and goal leaves the people you need

  3. It’s mutual! You can suggest meeting up

Coffee break?Shall I come over?Come over to me

    Sounds good

    A honk and a ready-made phrase

One honk instead of the awkwardness. If the person replies, the guest picks a phrase like “Coffee break?” or “Come over to me”, and they meet in person

  4. Share your LinkedInShare your TelegramOlena shared her LinkedIn back

    A contact in two taps

After the conversation you can share your LinkedIn or Telegram, with no searching for profiles or spelling out usernames

For organizers

You bring people together, AOA helps them find each other

Introductions without a host

Guests don’t have to wait to be introduced. They find the right people from the first minute

Guests leave with contacts

The LinkedIn and Telegram of people in their field instead of a stack of business cards. That is the feeling that brings people to your next event

Only people in the hall are in the room

The pass is single-use and refreshes after every scan, so nobody watches the event from home

Turned on in the event settings

Choose the Networking event type, and the room switches to professional mode

Make your next networking event about the right connections

Tell us about your event and we’ll suggest how to run a networking room with tags or a QR at the entrance.

Everything for organizers

Calm for guests

  • Profiles are visible only to people in the hall right now
  • No chatting: only ready-made phrases and meeting in person
  • Contacts are shared only if you want to, one at a time
  • You can just look at who is in the hall in observer mode
