Getting started
How to sign up for AOA in a minute with Google, Apple or Telegram, fill in your profile, turn on Passkey sign-in and get into a venue room.
Signing up
AOA is a web app, so there is nothing to download. To get started:
- Tap your phone on the NFC tag at a venue or open a link from a friend
- Sign in with Google, Apple or Telegram
- Fill in some basic information about yourself
Signing up takes less than a minute. You don't need to come up with a password: AOA uses secure sign-in through the accounts you already have.
Setting up your profile
Once you've signed up, we recommend filling in your profile. It helps other people get to know you better:
- Photos: add a few photos so people can recognize you at the venue
- Name and age: the basics for meeting someone
- Hobbies and interests: they help you find things to talk about
- Goal: what you're looking for, whether it's friendship, conversation or romance
Passkeys: sign in without a password
AOA supports Passkeys (WebAuthn), the most modern way to sign in. It's biometric sign-in with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint on your device. You can set up a Passkey in the Security section of your settings.
